The nominal term for a transport and distribution (maritime operations) (level 2) traineeship is:

12 months.

What does a transport and distribution (maritime operations) (level 2) trainee do?

A transport and distribution (maritime operations) (level 2) trainee is involved in operating a commercial vessel of less that 12 metres in length, operation within the limits of sheltered and inshore waters within 215 nautical miles of the mainland coast. Trainees apply seamanship skills in nautical navigation, marine radio operation and saftey at sea.

Comments:

This traineeship requires a pre-requisite of pre-sea entry level units and also medical and eyesight tests.
