“My apprenticeship gave me a lot of independence, I was able to move out of home when I was 17 and I can cook for myself.”

Jacob’s work experience at the Potshot Resort in Exmouth turned into an offer of part-time employment which led to an apprenticeship in commercial cookery. Jacob gains experience working with chefs from all parts of the world and strongly recommends prospective apprentices do some work experience to get a taste of what the job may hold”.
