“TAFE is great. You don’t learn everything out on site. All the theory from TAFE adds depth to the knowledge of your trade.”

Roberto left school at an early age and wanted to get a feel for a trade before committing to an apprenticeship. After completing a pre-apprenticeship at TAFE, Roberto started as an apprentice bricklayer, a move that has really taken him places. He was selected to represent Western Australia at the national WorldSkills competition in Sydney.
