What can I expect from my employer?
As an apprentice or trainee, you are a valuable asset to your employer. You can expect:
- support and supervision for your day to day training to give you every opportunity to complete your apprenticeship or traineeship
- if off the job training is needed, your employer will need to give you the time off work to complete this*
- safe working environment.
*Formal training and assessment, whether taken on or off the job, must be paid in working time.
