Where can I go for support?
ApprentiCentre
The Department of Training and Workforce Development's ApprentiCentre registers training contracts and gives advice and support to employers, apprentices, trainees and parents/guardians through every stage of the apprenticeship or traineeship process. ApprentiCentre has staff who can help with all aspects of apprenticeships and traineeships including:
- your rights and obligations
- training options
- problem solving, counselling and help with disputes
- managing contracts including registering, changing and suspending contracts
- issuing trade certificates on the completion of apprenticeships
- traineeships for existing workers
- advertising vacancies on Jobsboard
- out of contract apprentices/trainees
- skilled apprenticeship availability list.
