Registering to use Jobs Board as an employer

To lodge apprentice and trainee vacancies on Jobs Board you will need to first register your details with ApprentiCentre. Contact the team on 13 19 54 to organise your registration, user name and password.

Your registrations will automatically expire after 12 months however one month prior to expiry you will receive an email inviting you to renew your registration. 

Accessing Jobs Board as an employer

When you log into Jobs Board you will notice a disclaimer, please read this and click on the box to confirm you have read and understood the information provided.

At the home page enter your user name and password as provided by ApprentiCentre and click on 'log in' in the Registered Users section. The 'My Vacancies' screen automatically appears listing all your job vacancies.

Employers who have a Training Record System access account can access Jobs Board by clicking the link on the Training Record System home page.

Adding job vacancies

When you have a vacancy, you can add it to Jobs Board using the 'My Vacancies' screen.

To add a new job vacancy:

  1. In the 'My Vacancies' screen, click on the 'Add New' menu.
  2. Click on the job title field and enter the necessary details.
  3. Tab through each field and enter the relevant details (* indicates a compulsory field).
  4. Click Save.

The job is now saved and will appear immediately on Jobs Board.

It is important to remember that jobs appear on the jobs board exactly as you have entered them.

Viewing your job vacancies

Click 'My Vacancies' and all your job vacancies will be listed. Click on the job title to see detailed information about the job.

Updating a job vacancy

If you need to change the details on a job vacancy you can do so from the 'My Vacancies' screen.

To edit a current job vacancy's details:

  1. Click on the 'My Vacancies' menu. (Your listed jobs appear.)
  2. Click on the job that is to be edited.
  3. Tab through to the relevant field and enter the updated changes.
  4. Click Save.

The job changes are now saved and will appear immediately on Jobs Board.

Closing off a job vacancy

Once you have filled your vacancy it is important to close it off to ensure that you do not continue to receive applications.

To close off a job:

  1. Click on the 'My Vacancies' menu. (Your listed jobs appear.)
  2. Click on the job that is to be closed off.
  3. Scroll down to the end of the page.
  4. Click on the 'Close off job' button.

The job is now closed and will no longer appear on Jobs Board.

Keeping your details up to date

If your details change go to the 'My Details' menu and update the relevant information. Don't forget to save your changes.
