Teachers and career advisors

With over 480 apprenticeships and traineeships available in WA, you’re a really important link for people looking to get started. While the number of options available means more choice, the process can still be confusing. We hope to make things easier for you and for those who are interested in doing an apprenticeship or traineeship.

School career advisors

You will have many students asking questions about the options available to them through apprenticeships and traineeships. You can find more information about School Apprenticeship Link and school based apprenticeships and traineeships in the training in schools teachers pack.  Aboriginal students may be interested in Aboriginal School Based Training.

Career advisors

The great thing about apprenticeships and traineeships is that they’re accessible to everyone - from those who have left school and those who may already have industry experience.

Information about becoming an apprentice can help you explain the best options available. The Career Centre is also a great place to start for those looking for a job, training and careers advice.
