Workforce Development Plan - Update

A number of individuals and organisations attended briefing sessions during December to provide their input into the scope of the WA Workforce Development Plan.

Input from Western Australian businesses and community will guide workforce development policy and training that truly reflects industry and community needs.

You still have an opportunity to contribute through the feedback form or written submission to gary.fitzgerald@trainingwa.wa.gov.au or

Mr Gary Fitzgerald
Director of Industry and Community Planning
Department of Training and Workforce Development
Level 2, 151 Royal Street, East Perth WA 6004

The workforce development plan will assist the Government and the Department to guide workforce development policy and training in line with the needs of the economy.

The WA workforce development plan: A skilled workforce for the future issues paper invited Western Australian businesses and community to take part in shaping their future workforce and contribute the development and coordination of future skills and labour needs.

Workforce development will build, attract and retain a skilled workforce to meet the economic needs of Western Australia.
