Welcome to training resource allocation

The Department of Training and Workforce Development is responsible for ensuring that publicly funded training is coordinated to match industry and student needs.

The training resource allocation branch of the Department is specifically responsible for:

• funding State Training Providers and private registered training organisations (RTOs) to deliver training; and
• ensuring that requirements associated with the Commonwealth vocational education and training funding agreement are achieved.

There are two teams to assist training providers.

• The private providers team administers the funding to private training organisations delivering training in Western Australia.
• The State Training Providers team administers the profile arrangements for Western Australian State Training Providers.
