Choosing a training provider

There are more than 500 registered training providers across Western Australia offering more than 1,000 nationally recognised courses and access to a range of traineeships and apprenticeships.

Training providers that are registered by state and territory training authorities, deliver nationally recognised training that:

  • is recognised by all registered training providers throughout Australia
  • is part of a Training Package that has been developed to meet the needs of a particular industry, and
  • results in a qualification that is part of the Australian Qualifications Framework

There are many different organisations that offer training in Western Australia these include TAFE colleges, private training providers, universities, adult and community education providers, community organisations, schools, higher education institutions, commercial and enterprise training providers, industry bodies, and other organisations that meet registration requirements.

This website enables you to search for full-time and part time training courses and community learning (ACE) programs offered in Western Australia through TAFE colleges and publicly funded courses available through private training providers.
