The information in this section is intended for the use of training providers considering becoming registered.
Only registered training providers can deliver nationally recognised courses and qualifications and there are over 1,059 registered training providers across Western Australia.
Registered training providers are broken into private and public registered training providers. TAFE is currently the only public training provider while private training companies, large organisations, industry and professional associations, schools and adult community education colleges can apply to become a private registered training providers and deliver training that can be private or in some cases publicly funded.
Whether public or private, registered training providers must meet nationally recognised standards of quality and deliver
nationally recognised training and qualifications.
