Training Resource Allocation
The Planning and Resources Division is responsible for the strategic planning of training delivery for the VET sector to ensure that publicly funded training delivery is coordinated to match industry and student need.
Specifically, the Training Resource Allocation Directorate is responsible for:
- the funding of TAFE Colleges and private registered training organisations to deliver this training
- ensuring that requirements associated with the Commonwealth VET funding agreement are achieved.
Two separate work areas operate within the Training Resource Allocation Directorate:
- Training Markets has responsibility for the administration of funding programs for the delivery of training services.
- Strategic Funding has responsibility for the administration of all things related to TAFE.
